Pattaya Hotels Aren’t Always Girl Friendly

All Pattaya hotels are not created equal. You’ve already picked your dates, bought your ticket and are on your way to Pattaya for holiday. You must be aware however that you must choose where you stay wisely. If you plan on bringing ladies back to your room, understand that not all Pattaya hotels are friendly towards the ladies.

This is one important aspect that must not be overlooked. There is nothing worse than checking into your hotel, heading out for a night on the town, finding a cutie, bringing her back to your hotel only to find out that they are going to charge you 1000 Baht for her to go to your room. Now that’s a bummer! That means you haven’t done your homework.

I have put together a short list of Pattaya hotels that should help you make a good decision that will avoid any unwanted surprises when you decide to bring a girl home for the evening. Remember, there are a ton of places to stay, so I can’t cover every hotel. But I have had experiences with quite a few hotels around the city. If you find any of the information to be incorrect, from one of your own experiences, please let me know and I will update the information.

The Sawasdee Hotels Group is all girl friendly. I have never heard of anyone being hassled for a “joiner fee” when bringing a girl back to the room. There is the Sawasdee Sunshine Hotel on Soi 11, Sawasdee Siam Hotel on Soi Buakhao, Sawasdee Seaview Hotel on Soi 10 and the Sawasdee Sabai Hotel on Soi Sai Song (which is basically an extension of Soi 10). These are all budget hotels so don’t expect top notch amenities, but they definitely do the trick if you are looking to save your money for the partying.

Staying in the same area is the Inntown Holiday Hotel on Soi 11. It sits right next to the Honey Body Massage parlor. This is perfect for those of you that want to enjoy a soapy massage while you’re in Pattaya. The rooms here are old but decent and they have a pool on the roof with a pretty good view. Rooms are all under 1000 Baht. They vary in price from about 600 to 800 Baht depending on if it is the high or low season. This is more for the economical traveler who is not too worried about amenities.

Also on Soi 10 is the Eastiny Residence Hotel, which is part of the Eastiny Group. The other hotels are located on Soi 8. I have stayed at two of them over the years and they offer good value and I was never hassled when I brought a girl back to the room. I’m not sure if they have changed their policy or not. Page 10 Hotel is also located on Soi 10 and is definitely worth a look. It is one of the newer hotels that have been built on this Soi over the past couple of years. They have very nice rooms and a nice pool on the roof. Rates here are around 2000 Baht and up.

In the L.K. Metro/Soi Diana area, you can find a few Pattaya hotels that are girl friendly. The LK Metropole (part of the LK Group) is a very nice hotel and will let you bring one girl back to your pleasure palace for free; however if you double up, you may get stung for a fee. These rooms are a bit pricier, but if you aren’t worried about spending a bit more cash then go for it. Make sure you check the prices online because they have six different rooms to choose from and prices will vary with the season as well.

LK Renaissance Hotel on Soi Diana and LK Royal Suite Hotel on Soi Buakhao are also part of the LK Group. These are also worth checking out. They will allow you to bring one girl back to the room for free. If you want to bring more, you may have to be sly and slip them in or else cough up some extra Baht.

The Sabai Lodge on Soi 2 and the Baboona Beach Front Living Hotel between Soi 3 and 4 are two hotels you may want to consider if you prefer staying in the northern portion town. Both are reasonably priced. They are the cheapest but they do offer good value.

The Mercure Pattaya Hotel is a good mid-range hotel in the southern portion of town and is close to Walking Street. It sits on Third Rd so it is a bit further from the beach than other hotels. The Nova Platinum Hotel that is a bit to the south of Walking Street is also worth considering as well as the Dusit D2 Baraquda on Soi 13/2 and Pattaya 2nd Road.

The Marriot Resort and Spa is a high end hotel that is girl friendly. If you aren’t worried about a budget, then this is the best pace for you if you are going to be bringing girls back on a regular basis and don’t want to get clipped with a joiner fee. It is located on Pattaya 2nd Road near Soi 13/2. It is also very close to Walking Street and has great amenities.

This list of Pattaya hotels should help you choose a place that you will be comfortable in and not get stuck paying an extra fee just to bring your “Betty” back to the room. After all, more than likely if you are visiting this site, you aren’t planning on just spending your time on the links or lounging by the beach.
